What To Look For When Choosing A Denver Roofing Company!
Denver Roofing Tips and Advice
Q. How long have they been in Denver roofing business? You want to be assured that you have a company with a history of quality work.
A. AnyWeather Roofing & Aluminum Construction, Inc. was started in January of 1980. We are a Colorado family owned and operated business.
Q. Are they licensed and insured?
A. Licensing and insurance requirements vary from city to city, and county to county. But any reliable contractor should be able to provide the proper certificates upon request. Make sure the company you choose is licensed and insured. Any injuries, accidents or property damages that might occur during the project can result in liabilities for the homeowner if the roofing company is not properly licensed and insured.
Any Weather Roofing& Aluminum Construction, Inc. maintains property licensing and insurance for Denver and the surrounding counties.
Q. Are you a member of the Better Business Bureau? Research prospective roofing contractors to make sure they have the credentials to back up any of their claims.
A. Any Weather Roofing & Aluminum Construction, Inc. has been a member for approximately 25 years and has an A+ rating with the BBB. Feel free to visit the BBB site at www.denverbbb.org
Q. Can you provide references? See what others have to say about work that was completed by a roofing contractor.
A. With over 32 years of business here in the Denver Metro area, AnyWeather Roofing& Aluminum Construction, Inc. has installed thousands of roofs with just as many satisfied customers. Upon your request we can provide references usually right in your neighborhood.
Q. Do I need a permit for a roof? Yes you do.
A. AnyWeather Roofing& Aluminum Construction, Inc. obtains permits for all of our roofing projects. We also schedule all of the inspections mid-roof when needed and all mandatory final roof inspections. This gives homeowners peace of mind that the job is done correctly.
Q. How many days will my roof installation take? Most roofing projects are completed between 1 or 2 days.
A. There are many variables to the time line. Size of the project, how many layers there are to be removed, is there a mid-roof inspection required and, of course – the weather. But we will inform you of that time line.
Q. When do I pay for my new roof? It is wise to go with a company that requires payment upon completion of the job. This protects you as the buyer so you get the job completed to your satisfaction.
A. We ask for payment due upon completion. Which means no money upfront, and not until the city or county has approved your new roof. This once again is to bestow confidence in your choice of AnyWeather Roofing& Aluminum Construction, Inc. If this is an insurance claim we will accept the amount that your insurance company has given you on the first check. Then we will bill your insurance company. When the second check arrives you can pay the balance. Typically in 7-14 days.
Q. In closing we suggest never to sign a paper from a roofing company to inspect your roof (our inspections are always free that’s the honest way). Also, never sign a contract that does not have a dollar amount on it.
A. Pick a roofing contractor that has a good reputation, and a track record in your community. Never give money upfront as a reputable contractor should not need it.
We hope to be your next roofing contractor. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
